SKIARENA SILBERSATTEL IN STEINACH
Thuringia's snowiest ski area at the Silbersattel in Steinach.

DIRECTIONS
from Coburg
Via the B4 past Neustadt and Sonneberg. B89 in the direction of Frankenblick and then in the direction of Steinach. Over the Froschgrundsee, to Mittelberg, Fischbach in the direction of Rückerswind. In Effelder on the B89 towards Sonneberg. In Mengersgereuth-Hämmern towards Steinach

from the Suhl / Saalfeld region
From Saalfeld: To Lichte, Piesau/Graefenthal, Ernstthal, towards Lauscha
From Schleusingen: Always in the direction of Sonneberg on the B 89 to Mengersgereuth-Hämmern, in the direction of Steinach

PARKING
150 parking spaces directly at the ski arena

How to get to the parking lot:

• Coming from Neuhaus/ Steinheid/ Lauscha, turn right at the town sign
• Coming from Sonneberg/ Coburg through Steinach, stay on the main road and turn left at the town limit sign the further access is then signposted (approx. 2 km through the forest)
  500 parking spaces in the city area at the market square
  
• coming from Sonneberg/ Coburg through Steinach always on the main road, turn left approx. 150 m after the fire station coming from Neuhaus/ Steinheid always on the main road, at the castle/tourist info then straight on to the market square!

ATTENTION: Parking on the market square in Steinach is subject to a charge! (day ticket 5€)

SKI BUS
If necessary, the ski bus runs up and down from the market place in a shuttle service from 9:15 a.m.
In the afternoon the buses drive until all guests are back in the valley. Due to statutory rest breaks, there is no ski bus between 1:15 p.m. and 2 p.m.

DIRECTIONS
From Coburg
Via the A73 towards Erfurt, exit Schleusingen via the L3004 to Schmiedefeld

From Erfurt
from Erfurt via A4 and A71 to Ilmenau (exit 16-Ilmenau West, Schmiedefeld) then on the L3004 through Stutzerbach to Schmiedefeld

From Oberhof
Coming from Oberhof on the L1129 via Schmücke to Schmiedefeld

PARKING
Parking directly opposite: Parking is available in the parking areas on Schmückestrasse and Suhler Chaussee (exit in the direction of Suhl).
